The heads of parliamentary delegations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Member States have issued a Statement condemning the brutal terrorist attack on March 22, 2024, in the Crocus City Hall shopping mall in the city of Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region.
"We, the heads of the parliamentary delegations of the CSTO Member States in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization, strongly condemn the act of a ruthless and cynical terrorist attack committed on March 22, 2024, in the Moscow region and resulting in numerous casualties among civilians," reads the text of the Statement published on March 26 on the official website of the CSTO PA.
On behalf of the parliaments and peoples of the CSTO Member States, they expressed sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to all the injured.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization expressed readiness to actively combat the spread of terrorist and extremist ideology, as well as to counter recruitment into the ranks of terrorist organizations.
The Statement says that the CSTO Member States are in favor of further consolidation in countering terrorism and extremism both within the CSTO and at the global level.
