Shuhrat Ahrorzoda: International Observation Is the Basis for Transparent Elections
International observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly continue their monitoring mission at the early parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan at polling stations in Bishkek and Moscow.
Shuhrat Ahrorzoda, member of the Committee on Legislation and Human Rights of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, stated that participation of many international observers at the elections in Kyrgyzstan demonstrates the openness and transparency of the process.
"During monitoring, we can see that human rights and equal access of candidates to voters are consistently observed, which is an important indicator of the electoral process quality. At the moment, our group has not recorded a single violation," Shuhrat Ahrorzoda said.
