Operation Nelegal 2022 conducted in Kyrgyzstan in the CSTO framework
From June 27 to July 4, a series of search operations Nelegal 2022 (“Illegal Person 2022”) was conducted in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and other Member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. This was reported by the Kabar News Agency with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It notes that the operation was held in accordance with the CSTO Member States’ Action Plan for the Development of a Collective System of Combating Illegal Migration.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic carried out activities to identify:
– organization of illegal migration;
– violation of the rules for the recruitment and use of foreign labour in the Kyrgyz Republic;
– violation by near-border migrant workers of labour rules of the Kyrgyz Republic;
– illegal employment of citizens;
– violation by persons inviting or receiving foreign nationals and stateless persons in the Kyrgyz Republic of the established procedure for their stay;
– violation by foreign nationals of the established procedure of stay, labour rules or transit travel in the Kyrgyz Republic.
