Stanislav Zas and Sergei Lavrov discussed CSTO development

Stanislav Zas, CSTO Secretary General, and Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, met on October 25 to discuss current activities and future development of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and preparations for the upcoming meetings of the CSTO Statutory Bodies. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website, in particular, the parties exchanged views on the situation in the CSTO area of responsibility. Stanislav Zas informed Sergei Lavrov of the preparations for the upcoming meetings of the CSTO Statutory Bodies and implementation of a number of individual assignments of the Collective Security Council.
