Draft law on temporary deployment of CSTO troops introduced in the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan
A draft law on the temporary deployment of CSTO troops has been submitted to the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to Zakon.kz, the draft law on the temporary deployment of troops of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has been submitted to the Mazhilis for consideration, the agency’s correspondent reports.
“To submit the draft law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Ratification of the Agreement on Jurisdiction and Legal Assistance in Matters Related to Temporary Deployment of Formations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization’s Forces and Assets in the Territories of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Member States for consideration by the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” reads the government decree.
The agreement itself was signed in Dushanbe on September 16, 2021.
