A meeting of the Permanent Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization has been held.
As the CSTO website reports, Aleksandr Grinevich, Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of Belarus to the Collective Security Treaty Organization, was elected Chairman of the CSTO Permanent Council, due to rotation of CSTO presidency in 2022–2023 from the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Belarus. Viktor Biyagov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the CSTO, handed him the wooden gavel of the Chairman, symbolizing the decision of the CSTO Permanent Council.
Viktor Biyagov was thanked for his fruitful and constructive work as the Chairman of the Permanent Council of the Organization in 2021–2022.
