Aleksandr Lukashenko: Cooperation between the CSTO, SCO and CICA should be expanded
The CSTO, SCO and CICA can contribute to the development of the Eurasian space, said Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, in his speech at the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia summit taking place in Astana, Kazakhstan, on October 13th, as TASS reports.
“Increased cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the CICA can lay a solid foundation for both the successful development of the Eurasian space and security of the states participating in these associations,” said the President of Belarus. As you may recall, the Republic of Belarus is a CICA observer.
Stanislav Zas, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, takes part in the 6th CICA summit.
