Aleksandr Markevich elected Chairman of the Standing Commission on Socioeconomic and Legal Issues

Aleksandr Markevich, deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on National Security of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, has been elected Chairman of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Socioeconomic and Legal Issues.
At the meeting of the Standing Commission on October 18, the deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on National Security of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Markevich made a report on additions to the 2021–2025 CSTO PA Action Plan on Approximation and Harmonization of National Legislation of the CSTO Member States and on the draft new version of the Regulations on the Expert Advisory Board under the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
A presentation was given by a representative of the legislators working on the draft Recommendations on Harmonizing the Legislation of the CSTO Member States in the Area of Civil Service Similar in Status to Military Service.
The participants of the meeting considered the budgeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly in 2021 and the 2022 CSTO Parliamentary Assembly draft action plan.
