Alen Simonyan: Support of Allies in Difficult Situations Is the Basis of Our Organization

At the Council session in Minsk, Alen Simonyan, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, noted the CSTO PA’s contribution to the coordination of the parliaments’ lawmaking aimed at the achievement of the Organization’s goals and objectives.

“Mutual respect, desire to take into account each other’s interests, development of consensus approaches and support of the allies in difficult situations for achieving tangible results is the unshakable foundation of our Organization,” Mr Simonyan said.

He also noted that the Collective Security Treaty Organization’s core activity is ensuring peace and order for those in need.
