Aigul Kuspan Chairs the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan

At a plenary session, Aigul Kuspan has been elected Chairperson of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A majority of 93 deputies voted in favour of the decision.

Aigul Kuspan graduated from Almaty Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages in 1983 and from Maurice Thorez Moscow Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages in 1989. She began her career as a university teacher, then worked in various departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and in embassies in different countries.

As you may recall, in the previous convocation Aigul Kuspan was a member of the delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
