Birthday of the Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly

Today marks the 58th birthday of Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Law, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor, Lieutenant Colonel.

The speakers of the parliaments and chambers of the parliaments of the CSTO Member States congratulated the Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, noting the role of the CSTO PA Chairman in the development of the Organization’s parliamentary dimension, his uncompromising will in ensuring the implementation of decisions of the heads of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Member States. They noted that Vyacheslav Volodin’s initiatives in the model legislation and statements of the CSTO PA largely determine the effective development of the parliamentary dimension of the Organization as a whole; his tireless capacity for work and ability to make the only correct decision in a difficult situation, after listening to all opinions, which contributes to the strengthening of the Organization.
