Heads of CSTO States’ parliaments laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame in Aleksandrovsky Garden

today, December 5, a delegation of parliamentarians of the Collective
Security Treaty Organization Member States headed by Vyacheslav
Volodin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security
Treaty Organization, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly
of the Russian Federation, laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
in Aleksandrovsky Garden.
The delegates arrived in Moscow to participate in the joint meeting of
the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty
Organisation and in the 15th Plenary Session of the CSTO PA on
December 5 at the Pillar Hall of the House of the Unions.
As you may recall, in 1966 the ashes of an unknown Soviet soldier
were moved from a mass grave in Moscow suburbs and solemnly reburied in
Aleksandrovsky Garden. The following year, a memorial was opened here.
Its main element is the Eternal Flame and the alley of hero-cities.
