Delegation of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan to the CSTO PA consists of 6 deputies of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and 6 deputies of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.
On June 8, the 86th meeting of the Council of Border Guard Commanders was held under the leadership of Army General Vladimir Kulishov, Chairman of the Council, first deputy Director and Head of the Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service of Russia.
The meeting gathered representatives of nine border agencies of CIS Member States (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan), Coordination Service of the Council of Border Guard Commanders, as well as cooperating bodies of the Commonwealth – CIS Executive Committee, CIS Anti-Terrorism Centre and Office for the Coordination of the Fight Against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crime on the Territory of CIS Member States.
During the Baku meeting, 19 documents on planning of near- and mid-term activities of the Council of Border Guard Commanders have been signed. The situation on the external borders of the CIS Member States has been reviewed as well.
Heads of international legal structures of border guard agencies met on the platform of the Council of Border Guard Commanders to discuss the forthcoming drafting of the Programme of Cooperation of the CIS Member States for Strengthening Border Security at the External Borders for 2026–2030.
The next meeting of the Council of Border Guard Commanders will be held in Armenia.
