Acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic received CSTO PA Executive Secretary

While on a working visit in Moscow, Talant Mamytov, Acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic and Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, met with Sergei Pospelov, Executive Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, to discuss participation of the CSTO PA observer mission to monitor the presidential election in the Kyrgyz Republic in January 2021.
Bakhtovar Safarzoda, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Nurbek Satvaldiyev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, also took part in the meeting.
Talant Mamytov and CSTO PA Executive Secretary discussed the implementation of the 2021–2025 CSTO PA Action Plan on Approximation and Harmonization of National Legislation of the CSTO Member States; issues to be included in the draft agenda of the spring session of the CSTO PA Council (to be held in Dushanbe in March); issues of organizing the CSTO PA observer mission at the presidential election in the Kyrgyz Republic on January 10, 2021.
Bakhtovar Safarzoda, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, congratulated Talant Mamytov on his election as the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, wished him good luck and confirmed participation of Tajikistan’s parliamentarians in the observer mission at the upcoming presidential election.
