CSTO PA Executive Secretary and Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation discussed issues of parliamentary cooperation

Imomuddin Sattorov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation, met in Moscow with Sergei Pospelov, Executive Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
Bakhtovar Safarzoda, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, also participated in the meeting.
They discussed the dates of the meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Dushanbe, the presidency of the Republic of Tajikistan in the CSTO in 2021 and the initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan for its presidency in the Organization.
CSTO PA Executive Secretary expressed his full readiness to support the implementation of Tajikistan’s initiatives in the CSTO.
Sergei Pospelov also asked to convey his deep gratitude to the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan and all who assisted and supported the organization of CSTO PA events in the Republic in 2015 and 2019.
