The International Security Symposium took place in Indonesia. It was held as part of the Komodo-2025 naval exercise, organized to strengthen international military cooperation.
Konstantin Avershin, Member of the delegation of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, declared that the International Security Symposium in Indonesia is particularly important for the formation of a multipolar world order.
“This event clearly demonstrates the growing trend towards multipolarity in contemporary international relations. The participation of 38 states, including such major powers as Russia, the United States and China, reflects the desire for a more balanced distribution of influence in the world,” Konstantin Avershin noted.
He added that “organizing such events in Indonesia, a state that does not belong to the traditional centers of power, also symbolizes a balance shift towards new regional leaders and strengthening the role of the Global South in shaping the international agenda.”
During the exercises in Indonesia, which will be held until February 22, the participants practise methods of assistance in natural disasters response, both on land and at sea.
