The CSTO Consultative Coordination Centre notes the growth of joint responses to computer incidents
The 14th meeting of the Council of the Consultative Coordination Centre for Computer Incident Response of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO CCC) called the growth in the volume and quality of joint measures taken in response to computer incidents an important component of ensuring the security of the information space of the CSTO Member States. Meeting participants included representatives of delegations from CSTO Member States’ authorized bodies dealing with computer incidents response. On November 14, 2022 in Moscow, the CSTO Secretariat hosted the 14th meeting of the Council of the Consultative Coordination Centre for Computer Incident Response of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO CCC).
The chairman of the CSTO CCC Council opened the meeting with an address to the participants. His report on the CSTO CCC activities in 2022 noted the growth in the volume and quality of the joint measures taken in response to computer incidents as an important component of ensuring the security of the information space of the CSTO Member States.
During the meeting, members of the CSTO CCC Council discussed topical issues related to the results of the computer security training of the experts of the CSTO CCC contact offices. They shared positive experience in ensuring the protection of national critical information infrastructure facilities from cyber threats, details about computer incidents in the information space of the CSTO Member States and information analysis provided by national contact offices.

The Consultative Coordination Centre for Computer Incident Response of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO CCC) was established by the decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council of December 23, 2014 in Moscow with an aim to strengthen the information security system in the interests of the Member States of the Organization.
The Decision appointed the Centre for the Response to Computer Incidents in the Information and Telecommunication Networks of State Authorities of the Russian Federation, which functions as part of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, as the base organization for computer incident response.
In accordance with its Regulations, the CSTO CCC is an auxiliary body of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
In its current activities, the CCC is accountable to the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The CSTO CCC was formed to coordinate the interaction of authorized bodies on issues related to computer incidents that threaten the functioning of information and telecommunication networks and information systems of any CSTO Member State.
