According to TASS, head of the CIS Mission Ilkhom Nematov announced this at a press conference today.
“The referendum on amendments and additions to the Basic Law of the Republic of Belarus is valid,” the agency quotes him as saying.
Ilkhom Nematov emphasized that according to CIS international observers, the Republic of Belarus created all the conditions for the free expression of will of the citizens and “the CIS observers did not find any serious violations that could have altered the results of the referendum.”
According to the head of the CIS mission, “the country has created all the conditions for this event and for the free expression of will of the citizens at the referendum.” “Voting was calm and orderly,” stressed Ilkhom Nematov.
