Model Law On Combating Terrorism at Fuel and Energy Complex Facilities to be considered at a meeting of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Defence and Security
Draft model laws On Informational and Analytical Support to Law Enforcement Agencies of the CSTO Member States in Relation to the Organization’s Activities; On Combating Terrorism at Fuel and Energy Complex Facilities; and draft Recommendations on Harmonization of the CSTO Member States’ Legislation on Military Duty and Military Service and on Harmonization of the CSTO Member States’ Legislation on Status of Military Officers and Equivalent Categories of Public Servants will be reviewed in the Parliamentary Centre in St Petersburg on March 18 by CSTO States’ parliamentarians and experts of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Defence and Security. The meeting of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Defence and Security will be held in the hybrid format and chaired by Anatoly Vybornoy, deputy Chairman of the Committee on Security and Corruption Control of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
The Committee members will hear a report by Andranik Kocharyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defence and Security of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, on the implementation of priorities of the Republic of Armenia during its presidency in the Organization; discuss prospects of improvement of legal support to peacekeeping activities of the CSTO Member States; and examine the list of issues on the preliminary agenda of the next committee meeting.
The parliamentarians will also consider the candidacy of the deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on Defence and Security of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
