Myasnikovich: the EAEU needs a digital security agreement

The EAEU needs a digital security agreement, said Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the EEC Board, today during a SPIEF panel discussion The Progress and Challenges of Integration within the EAEU and the New Development Paradigm, summing up the speech by Sergei Pospelov, Executive Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
As you may recall, in his speech during the discussion the CSTO PA Executive Secretary talked about the experience of the CSTO PA model lawmaking in the area of information technologies and information security, noting that “We need legislation for advanced development, to form a legal framework that allows creating opportunities for development and maintaining the unity of the security framework, including in the area of critical infrastructure and the use of artificial intelligence.”
