A conference at the CSTO Joint Staff addressed information security
On September 2 in Moscow, a military research-to-practice conference at the CSTO Joint Staff addressed issues of ensuring information security in the military sphere. Views were exchanged on the experience of ensuring information security in the national armed forces and the improvement of the information security system of the CSTO States. According to the press service of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, conference participants included experts in the field of information security of defence departments of the CSTO Member States, CSTO’s training organizations and representatives of the CSTO Secretariat and the Joint Staff. At the plenary session, conference participants discussed threats to information security and exchanged views on the experience in ensuring information security in the national armed forces and improvement of the information security system of the CSTO Member States.
Following the conference, participants noted the high relevance of ensuring information security in the military domain and developed proposals to improve cooperation in this area.
