CSTO PA observers checked the work of polling stations in Reutov, Moscow region
During the Russian presidential election on March 17, observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization continued their work at polling stations in Moscow and the Moscow region.
In the afternoon, they visited polling stations in Reutov, Moscow region, where they talked to voters and members of election commissions. In general, according to the observers, all those interviewed were satisfied with the organization of the voting process.
The CSTO parliamentarians noted that for the safety of citizens and for ensuring public order, all polling stations were equipped with cameras or video recorders, and metal detectors were installed at every entrance.
"Today we have already visited several polling stations. The impressions are positive, festive. People keep arriving, including entire families, they vote to fulfill their civic duty to the Fatherland," said Alisher Erbayev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Law and Order, Combating Crime and Counteraction to Corruption of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Observers from the presidential candidates and observers sent by the Public Chamber of the region were present at all polling stations.
