Parliamentary Assembly observers to work at elections in Kyrgyzstan

On November 28, 2021, at the invitation of Talant Mamytov, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, international observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be monitoring the parliamentary election in Kyrgyzstan as part of the CIS Observer Mission.
The group of CSTO Parliamentary Assembly observers comprises representatives of the parliaments of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Member States: the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Federation Council and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
As part of monitoring the preparations for the election of deputies to Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic and the voting itself, CSTO PA observers will hold a number of meetings, in particular at the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic, and on election day they will be present at polling stations in Bishkek and in the regions of the Republic from their opening until the end of the vote count
