CSTO intensifies inter-state information interaction
The CSTO Joint Staff held a remote meeting of representatives of national bodies of the CSTO Member States authorized to interact with the Crisis Response Centre.
“The purpose of the meeting is to improve information interaction between the CSTO Crisis Response Centre and the national bodies authorized to interact with it,” the press service quotes Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, Chief of the Joint Staff.
According to the press service of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Crisis Response Centre in Moscow brought together representatives of the CSTO Joint Staff and Secretariat of the Russian Ministry of Defence, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Russian Federal Guard Service and the Council of Commanders of CIS Border Guard Troops.
Heads and representatives of the management of the Operational Command Centre of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, the Central Command Centre of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, the Central Command Centre of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Crisis Response Centre of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Defence Management Centre of the Russian Federation and the Command Post of the Operational Command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan also joined the meeting remotely.
The meeting addressed the organization of advanced training for officials of the CSTO Joint Staff and national bodies authorized to interact with the CSTO Crisis Response Centre.
Meeting participants outlined areas for improving information interaction within the CSTO framework.
The event was moderated by Major General Sergei Kuprik, deputy Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff.
