Olga Perepechina: CSTO PA’s Model Acts Allow Improving Kazakhstan’s Legislation as Well
CSTO PA international observers visited the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 17 to monitor the early parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan.
Aleksandr Markievich, Coordinator of the CSTO PA International Observers Group and deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on National Security of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, reported on the work of the group in monitoring the upcoming elections.
Olga Perepechina, deputy Chairwoman of the Senate of Kazakhstan, pointed out the high level of work being done by the CSTO PA both in election monitoring and in developing various model acts to improve the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Olga Perepechina also told international observers about political reforms to be implemented in Kazakhstan in 2023.
As you may recall, according to the decision of Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and by the invitation of Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a group of international observers of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly was formed to monitor the preparation and conduct of the early parliamentary elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan to be held on March 19, 2023.
