Parliamentarians of the Assembly will take part in the CSTO Armed Forces’ exercise

Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, met with Sergei Pospelov, Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
The CSTO PA Executive Secretary Sergei Pospelov and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov discussed the possibility and timing of the CSTO Joint Staff hosting a meeting of the Coordination Council of Chairpersons of Committees (Commissions) on Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States under the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and participation of representatives of the CSTO Joint Staff in the Coordination Meeting and meetings of the Expert Advisory Board under the CSTO PA Council. In addition, they agreed on the participation of deputies of the CSTO Member States’ parliaments in the Organization’s exercises planned for 2021.
