CSTO States’ parliaments close their sessions

Deputies of parliaments of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Member States are now in recess, but many continue their work.
On July 9 the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia continued its work as deputies initiated an extraordinary session to have the second reading of drafts on amendments and addenda to the laws of the Republic of Armenia submitted by the Government.
On July 11 within the framework of the 35th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Hakob Arshakyan, Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia, and Aleksandr Uss, Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai, met in Krasnoyarsk.
Deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus continue their work in the Standing Committees after closing the session on June 30.
The Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan is in recess from July 1, 2022. Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic are in recess from June 30, a Sputnik Kyrgyzstan correspondent reports. Parliamentarians closed their eighth session accompanied by the anthem of the Kyrgyz Republic. They are scheduled to reconvene on September 1, but there may be extraordinary sessions.
Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan is in recess from June 30 until mid-August. For half of August and September, deputies will work in committees and commissions and meet their constituents; the session will traditionally open on October 1.
