CSTO Presidency Passes from Belarus to Kazakhstan

On November 23, 2023, a session of the CSTO Collective Security Council (CSC) will be held in Minsk under the presidency of Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus.

The members of the CSTO will discuss topical problems of international and regional security and adopt a number of documents aimed at ensuring the interests of collective security.

In connection with the transition of the presidency of the Organization to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, will present the priority areas of activity for the period of CSTO presidency.

Before the Collective Security Council session on November 22, a joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defence Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils will be held.
