Parliamentary development is one of Armenia’s priorities within the CSTO
Development of the CSTO parliamentary diplomacy capacity for building dialogue at international organizations and forums to advance towards the creation of a common and indivisible security space is among the priorities announced by the Republic of Armenia for the duration of its presidency in the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
Hakob Arshakyan, Vice President of the Armenian National Assembly, said this today, commenting on the results of the meeting of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Political Affairs and International Cooperation.
According to the Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic’s priorities for its 2022 presidency in the Collective Security Treaty Organization also include taking measures for further institutionalization of the CSTO parliamentary dimension and continuing efforts for approximation and harmonization of the CSTO Member States’ national legislations in the area of ensuring national security taking into consideration new challenges and threats.
