Heads of the EEC and CSTO PA secretariats discussed interaction

Today, on May 11, in Moscow, Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, received Sergei Pospelov, Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, head of the CSTO PA Secretariat.
They discussed interaction between the organizations, including in the area of economic security; the states that once established the Collective Security Treaty Organization are also members of the EEC, with the exception of the Republic of Tajikistan. The parties discussed maintaining and deepening interaction between the CSTO PA and the Eurasian Economic Commission, with which the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly develops quite productive relations. During the meeting, the parties outlined and reviewed areas for deepening interaction between the two organizations, in particular, in the development of model legislative acts on economic security. The participants of the meeting, in particular, agreed on the joint work of the experts of the two structures, as well as on interaction at the forum sites.
