Sergei Rachkov Thanked CSTO PA Observers for their Work at the Presidential Election in Belarus

On February 7, Sergei Rachkov, Chairman of the Standing Commission on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the fourth meeting of Chairmen of the Committees and Commissions on International Affairs, Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States.

The parliamentarian thanked the observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly for their efficient work at the presidential election in Belarus.

“I am confident that the stability and security of our state, ensured by the election results, correspond not only to the interests of Belarus, but also to the interests of the CSTO Member States,” said Sergei Rachkov. 

As you may recall, a monitoring group of CSTO parliamentarians, headed by Victoria Abramchenko, Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma, observed the preparation and holding of the presidential election in the Republic of Belarus.
