Stanislav Zas: Sustainable development of defence industries is one of the key elements in ensuring security of the CSTO Member States
“Today scientific and technological advancements and stable development of defence industries of the CSTO Member States are becoming one of the key elements in ensuring security of the state and its citizens and they occupy an important place in the development of the national and collective security system,” said Stanislav Zas, CSTO Secretary General, at the opening of the 1st international security industry exhibition National Security. Belarus–2022.
“Our Organization will continue to uphold the principles of cooperation between the brotherly nations to ensure stability and collective response to any challenges and crises,” stressed the CSTO Secretary General.
Stanislav Zas believes that the Belarusian security industry exhibition “will give an additional impetus to the development of defence industry complexes of the CSTO Member States as well as the improvement of scientific, technological and industrial potential.” It will also help solve the issues related to technical equipment of the armed forces, law-enforcement bodies, state security bodies and special services, other troops and military formations, firefighting and rescue bodies of the Republic of Belarus and other CSTO Member States with modern models of weapons, military and special equipment.
