Delegation of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan to the CSTO PA consists of 6 deputies of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and 6 deputies of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Specialized exercise Grom-2021 with special detachments of anti-drug agencies, internal affairs bodies and special services forming the special forces units of the CSTO Collective Rapid Deployment Forces (CSTO CRDF SFUs) began in the Republic of Armenia on September 24. This was reported by TASS with reference to the CSTO press service.
During the first phase of the exercise, groups of special forces and the Armenian Armed Forces will perform training and practical tasks on difficult mountainous terrain. Command and staff training on planning and carrying out special operations with the operational staff of the Operational Headquarters of the CSTO CRDF SFUs will be held simultaneously.
“In the process of solving training tasks, special troops of the CSTO States together with units of the Armenian Armed Forces and border troops will practice interaction and gain experience and skills to participate in special operations in conditions maximally close to combat,” TASS reports.
The second phase of the exercise will involve a tactical-shooting competition with combat weapons. The exercise will end on September 28.
The exercise is conducted in accordance with the 2021 plan for joint training of command bodies and formations of forces and assets of the CSTO collective security system.
