Valery Revenko, Head of the Department of International Military Cooperation and International Military Cooperation Assistant to the Minister of Defence of Belarus, announced that following the visit of representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus, it was decided to conduct special training of Tajik servicemen in Belarus.
As you may recall, from July 31 to August 4, representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Tajikistan got acquainted with military training institutions of the Republic of Belarus, which, like Tajikistan, is a member of the CSTO and also joined the SCO treaties in July 2023.
The Belarusian military ministry noted that the representatives of Tajikistan highly appreciated the level of military and combat training of the Belarusian soldiers, and therefore a decision was made to send Tajik soldiers to the friendly Republic for special training.
