Delegation of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan to the CSTO PA consists of 6 deputies of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and 6 deputies of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The International Student Scientific and Practical Conference on Security and Sustainable Development of Central Asia, held under the auspices of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, ended in Bishkek. The participants discussed the main challenges and threats related to global, regional and national security, as well as the prospects of Eurasian integration.
At the same time, Kyrgyzstan's leading universities, which have signed cooperation agreements with the CSTO PA Secretariat, are beginning preparations for the next stage of scientific and practical events. They will focus on implementing the priorities of Kyrgyzstan, chairing the CSTO in 2025.
The main areas of the upcoming events include strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation within the CSTO, harmonizing the legislation of the Member States and developing interaction with parliamentary structures of other countries and international organizations, consolidating the expert potential of leading Kyrgyz scientific institutions and higher education organizations to improve the quality of monitoring, analysis and anticipating of the situation in the CSTO area of responsibility, as well as analyzing the impact of destructive ideology on young people and developing a set of measures to prevent it.
It is expected that the forthcoming scientific and practical events scheduled for spring 2025 will contribute to further strengthening scientific and expert interaction, as well as to the development of comprehensive solutions on relevant issues of international security.
