CSTO Rescue Units Will Hold Exercises in Kazakhstan

Special military exercises Skala – 2024 with rescue units of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Member States will take place in September in the Almaty region at the “Rock City - Astana” training ground of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.

On September 6, as part of the exercises, the opening ceremony of the Kazkutkaru-2024 meeting-seminar among the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan will take place.

From September 12 to 14, a workshop on the use of unmanned aircrafts will be organized for representatives of Central Asia and the Middle East.

As you may recall, in 2024, the Collective Security Treaty Organization is chaired by the Republic of Kazakhstan. On June 3, Almaty hosted a meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly. And in late November, Almaty will host a meeting of the Collective Security Council, which will be attended by presidents of the CSTO Member States.
