Delegation of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan to the CSTO PA consists of 6 deputies of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and 6 deputies of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.
On May 25, Minsk hosted a meeting of the Defence Ministers Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, with Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, presiding.
Imangali Tasmagambetov, CSTO Secretary General, and Anatoly Sidorov, Colonel General, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, also participated in the meeting.
According to the CSTO website, the meeting approved the List of Activities for Joint Training of Command Bodies and Formations of Forces and Assets of the CSTO Collective Security System for the Period Until 2030. It is the basis for annual planning of joint training activities within the CSTO, which is carried out by the Joint Staff in cooperation with the CSTO Secretariat and relevant ministries and agencies of the CSTO Member States.
In addition, the Council of Ministers of Defence decided to amend the 2023 Plan of Joint Training of Command Bodies and Formations of Forces and Assets of the CSTO Collective Security System.
The defense ministers approved the Regulations on Reserves of Materiel for Supporting Formations of the CSTO Troops (Collective Force) and guidelines on the inter-governmental supply cataloguing system of the armed forces of the CSTO Member States.
The Council of Defense Ministers decided to submit to the Collective Security Council the documents introducing the Together for Peace medal to be awarded to persons who contributed to the peacekeeping activities of the CSTO.
As you may recall, the CSTO consists of six countries: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
