Vyacheslav Volodin discussed with the chairpersons of the parliaments of the CSTO Member States the preparation of the Parliamentary Assembly meeting on November 30

Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, spoke on the phone with the chairpersons of the parliaments of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Member States. According to the press service of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the talks were held with Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus; Nurlan Nigmatulin, Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Talent Mamytov, Acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic and Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic; Rustam Emomali, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Earlier a conversation was held with Ararat Mirzoyan, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
Vyacheslav Volodin discussed with the chairpersons of the parliaments of the CSTO Member States the preparation of the Council session and the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly.
During the conversation the members of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council discussed the issues of harmonization of national legislations of the CSTO Member States, regulation of digital and economic security, information protection, countering terrorism and extremism, organized crime, cyber challenges and threats.
A joint session of the Council and the plenary session of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly will be held on November 30 remotely.
