Zhanbolat Zhorgenbaev: high turnout is observed in elections in Tajikistan

Zhanbolat Zhorgenbaev, Member of the Committee on Agrarian Issues, Environmental Management and Rural Development of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted the high turnout at the elections in Tajikistan. 

"Today we are observing the elections to the Parliament of Tajikistan. We witnessed the solemn opening ceremony at 6:00. And we have already visited more than ten polling stations. People are very actively participating in the election processes. All election requirements, rules and laws have been observed. We also noted a high turnout. And we will already know the results today," said Zhanbolat Zhorgenbaev. 

Bakhtiyor Khudoerzoda, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the state, has already called the parliamentary elections in Tajikistan valid, as 59% of voters had voted as of 12:00 local time (10:00 Moscow time).
