Aleksandr Lukashenko Meets with Nurlanbek Shakiev, Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament
On October 5, Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of Belarus, met with Nurlanbek Shakiev, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Belarusian President noted that both Belarus and Kyrgyzstan pursue a policy aimed at developing a multipolar world. Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that the two republics need to strengthen regional cooperation and spoke about the successful experience of such interaction with the Russian Federation.
“I would like this experience to be transferred to the Belarusian-Kyrgyz relations. Especially because this in the Parliament’s field of vision," said the President of Belarus.
Belarus and Kyrgyzstan are members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that the countries closely cooperate on this platform and that there are no topics that are out of bounds for them.
Nurlanbek Shakiev emphasized that the two countries enjoy good relations in various areas.
