Anatoly Vyborny Presented Results of Work on the 2026–2030 CSTO PA Action Plan
Anatoly Vyborny, Chairman of the Permanent Commission on Defence and Security of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, presented a report on the completion of work on the Assembly's new 2026–2030 Action Plan.
In his speech at the meeting of Chairmen of the Committees on International Affairs, Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States, he pointed out that the draft Plan for the next five years includes more than 40 activities in the first section and 20 activities in the second section.
“On March 27-28, the first hearing of the draft Plan is scheduled during the meetings of the Expert Advisory Board and CSTO PA permanent commissions,” Anatoly Vyborny said.
Among the priority areas, he named control over foreign influence on electoral processes, as well as biological and digital security.
"The new program should become a tool for strengthening collective security, guaranteeing the protection of sovereignty of the CSTO Member States. We have already taken into account more than 80 suggestions from parliamentarians and experts, and now it is important to test them," Anatoly Vyborny noted.
He concluded that after the hearings, the draft Action Plan would be sent to the CSTO PA Council for consideration.
