Andrei Kartapolov Suggested that his CSTO Colleagues Study the Experience of Russian Legislation Adopted During the Special Military Operation
Andrei Kartapolov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defence, visited the Republic of Belarus to take part in the parliamentary monitoring of the military and political situation in the Central Asian region as an observer at the Vzaimodeystviye 2023 exercise held with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force.
On September 5, at a session of the Coordination Meeting of Chairpersons of Committees on Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States under the CSTO PA Council in Minsk, Andrei Kartapolov suggested that his CSTO colleagues study the experience of the Russian legislation adopted during the special military operation.
“I am confident that the laws adopted by Russian parliamentarians based on the experience of the special military operation can contribute to improving the effectiveness of ensuring security both in the CSTO Member States and within the military and political association as a whole,” Andrei Kartapolov said.
