Natalia Kochanova: It Is Important for the CSTO Countries to Be Together

On September 5, Natalia Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, met with parliamentarians of the CSTO Member States who arrived in Belarus to participate in the session of the Coordination Meeting of Chairpersons of Committees on Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States under the CSTO PA Council and in parliamentary monitoring of the Organization’s Boyevoye bratstvo exercise.

“The values promoted by the West are not for people-oriented. In contrast to these values, in a difficult situation we should lend a helping hand to each other,” Natalia Kochanova addressed her CSTO colleagues. 

She noted that the CSTO Member States should unite even more to ensure maximum security in the CSTO area of responsibility.
