Based on the results of the election observation in Dushanbe, Dmitry Perminov, member of the Committee on Defence and Security of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and member of the CSTO PA observer group, noted that the elections are as open as possible.
“This is the second day that the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly observer group is working at the elections of deputies to the Parliament of Tajikistan. It is clear that the Republic has made excellent preparations, a lot of work has been done to get ready for the elections. The staff of precinct election commissions have been trained, and population awareness level is high. And the elections are held openly, a lot of people come to vote. In the morning we noticed queues, many people stood in line, especially young people. And there is no reproach, no criticism,” emphasized Dmitry Perminov.
The parliamentarian expressed confidence that the elections will be held at a high level, and the people of the Republic of Tajikistan will vote well for their present and future.
