The Expert Advisory Board under the CSTO PA Council approved draft Recommendations on the Criminalization of Acts Related to Attempts to Rehabilitate Nazism
The Expert Advisory Board under the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization met on October 19, 2022 at the Parliamentary Centre in St Petersburg, with some participants joining via videoconferencing, under the chairmanship of Anatoly Vyborny, Chairman of the Expert Advisory Board under the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Standing Commission on Defence and Security, deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Committee on Security and Corruption Control.
Meeting participants reviewed drafts of 7 CSTO PA model legislative acts and the work on them, were informed of the results of the analysis of the CSTO PA legislative base for its implementation in the national legislation of the CSTO PA Member States, draft changes to the Regulations on CSTO PA Standing Commissions (April 3, 2008) and the draft Statement of the Expert Advisory Board under the CSTO PA Council on Amendments to the Regulations on the Participation of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly in International Monitoring of Elections and Referenda of November 29, 2021.
Participants of the meeting of the Expert Advisory Board under the CSTO PA Council included deputies from the parliaments of the CSTO Member States, experts representing the CSTO Member States and the drafters of the CSTO model legislative acts.
