CSTO Secretary General Tasmagambetov: It is Important that Parliamentarians Participate in Monitoring the CSTO Collective Forces Exercises

Imangali Tasmagambetov, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, addressed the CSTO PA Council in Minsk.
 
He reported on the current situation in the Organization’s area of responsibility and expressed his confidence that today’s meeting “will continue constructive interaction on a full range of issues of mutual interest.”
 
The CSTO Secretary General stressed the high level of demand for the parliamentary dimension in the CSTO work, “especially given the sharply deteriorating international situation undergoing a profound transformation.”
 
In his speech, Imangali Tasmagambetov paid particular attention to parliamentarians’ participation in monitoring exercises of the CSTO Collective Forces.
