Kazakhtan’s foreign minister thanked CSTO PA for the work of its observers at parliamentary elections

Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, expressed gratitude to Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, for the participation of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Mission in observing the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan.
In his letter to CSTO PA Chairman Mukhtar Tleuberdi noted that the Kazakh side did its best to ensure openness and transparency of the election process in line with high international standards and create an enabling environment for international observers.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted an important role that observers of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly played in the election process.
“The assessments they made will certainly serve to further improve electoral procedures in Kazakhstan,” said Mukhtar Tleuberdi, expressing the hope for further development of fruitful cooperation.
