Heads of the CSTO Parliaments' Defenсe Committees Laid Flowers at the Eternal Flame in Bishkek

On September 10, members of the Coordination Meeting of Chairpersons of Committees (Commissions) on Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States under the CSTO PA Council laid flowers at the Eternal Flame at the Victory Square in Bishkek and paid tribute to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. 

“We paid tribute to those who fought for peace and security. Today it is more relevant than ever to remember their feat as often as possible”, said Rustam Shokhmurod, Chairman of the Coordination Meeting and Chairman of the Committee on Law and Order, Defence and Security of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan. 

Today, Bishkek will host the Coordination Meeting of Chairpersons of Committees on Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States. It is attended by heads of the defence committees (commissions) of the parliaments of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
