CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force to conduct a command and control training session on November 11–12th
The CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force (CRRF) will conduct its command and control training on November 11–12th at the premises of the 38th Guards Control Brigade of the Airborne Troops stationed in the Moscow region, BELTA news agency reports with reference to the CSTO Joint Staff press secretary.
“The main purpose of the command and control training is to test the future structure of the CSTO CRRF control station deployed on the premises of the Airborne Troops command post,” BELTA quotes him.
The command and control training, led by the commander of the CSTO Joint Staff, Col. Gen. Anatoly Sidorov, is planned to involve military personnel of the defence agencies of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the CSTO Joint Staff and members of the CSTO Secretariat.
The CSTO CRRF includes combat-ready mobile units and military bases of the armed forces of the CSTO Member States, fully staffed and equipped with modern and compatible weapons and military/special equipment; special operation forces from among the special police units, security forces, special services and emergency-response competent authorities.
A total of 18,000 participants take part in the exercise.
