Ruslan Kosygin, deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on National Security of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, took up the post.
«Migration is very important. It touches upon the world problems. Everything related to migration security and illegal migration naturally concerns the CSTO Member States as well. We had to solve a lot of problems in this area, because we have to realize that people do not run away from a good life; and we have to take into account several details. I suggest to approve the draft Concept of Migration Security presented today, as well as the Recommendations on Harmonization of National Legislation in the Field of Combating Illegal Migration. All this will help to develop joint measures to ensure security and to counteract illegal migration», - Ruslan Kosygin said.
The parliamentarians and experts also discussed the draft Work Plan of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly for 2025 and the work progress on the draft Agreement on the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
